The sun terrace is a particularly good place to enjoy a "good meal" when the weather is fine. From here you can see the Dolomites and dine against a unique backdrop. Every dish is freshly prepared for you with love using regional ingredients.

That doesn't go together? But with us they do, because there's something for every member of the family. There are plenty of opportunities to let off steam here at the SchartnerAlm, especially for younger guests. The forest playground encourages creativity, exuberant play for small and older children and lots of fun in any case. Children also feel at home indoors. The indoor playground extends over 300 m² and offers endless fun. Board games, ball pool and more are available.
So that parents and older guests can also channel their energy, our biopool is ideal for swimming. Here we have almost reached the wellness area, because right next door you will find the sauna. Relaxing, swimming, bathing and working off energy go hand in hand here.
The sauna is also open all year round and each sauna session is accompanied by relaxing background music and appropriate lighting. This area is open to guests aged 16 and over.
Our ski school in winter and the e-bikes in summer promise a balanced and fun-filled vacation. Sport in the great outdoors, group experiences and team spirit spur even morning grouches on to jump out of bed and start the day. We also have a bike depot which we use as a ski depot in winter, and boot dryers are also available.
Things to do around the vacation apartment on the Alm
The Ritten region is simply perfect for vacationers, as it is not only the landscape that stands out for its beauty. The numerous possibilities for leisure activities are varied and popular with every guest.
The varied nature invites you to immerse yourself completely in the landscape. Forests, meadows and hills create a varied landscape. The view of the famous Dolomites and the Alps naturally puts everything else in the shade. Skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing and sledging in winter, hiking and biking in summer or a horseback ride make your time here unforgettable. In addition to the vacation apartments, the SchartnerAlm also offers camping pitches. Guests arriving by caravan usually already have their sports equipment with them and can get started right away.
But you can also do a lot here without sports equipment. We have numerous rental options. Otherwise, you can take the Renon/Ritten Railway, which connects Renon/Ritten and Bolzano/Bozen, to explore the region and enjoy the view. The historic narrow-gauge railroad from 1907 is actually unique in the whole of South Tyrol.
Would you prefer to explore the area on foot? This is easily possible thanks to the network of hiking trails, paths and footpaths. Different routes each offer a different level of difficulty. Autumn is the Törggelen season. Here you can visit several Törgelestuben on site or within walking distance. Delicious dishes, hearty soups and meat platters, delicious wine and sweet cider are served here in a convivial atmosphere. The wonderful aroma of roasted chestnuts fills the room and at the end there is a digestive schnapps. Thanks to the RittenCard, which guests of the SchartnerAlm receive, carefree transportation with the region's public transport is possible. You can also visit regional markets in the area and stop by a nearby farmers' market.
