FOREST-WILD-WONDER-PATH
Family trail in Oberbozen Let's go to the special forest animals on the Ritten...
An easy, wide and varied hiking trail for families with children that leads to a great farm with a restaurant. Here we are told a lot about the wild animals in South Tyrol.
The protagonists of the stories are Fiona, the cunning Mrs. Fox; Ivo, a prickly companion; Walter, the hard-working great spotted woodpecker; Sissi, the busy squirrel and many more. The children are offered lots of great play opportunities that teach them about the animals' characteristics in a playful way and, of course, there is also a description of the wild animal with its special features.
The nature trail is simply Wald-Wild-Wunder-bar!
Length of the Wald-Wild-Wunder-Weg: approx. 3.6 km

Start: from Oberbozen station, where the Rittner cable car & Rittner tramway arrives, then continue on foot to the edge of the forest above Oberbozen.
WE'VE GOT THE HANG OF IT!
Follow in the footsteps of Robin Hood and Ötzi with traditional archery on the Ritten!
The focus here is not on hitting a target, but rather on mastering the simple equipment. There are no aids such as aiming devices at all. Instead, archery takes place on courses in open terrain in the middle of the beautiful Ritten countryside. The targets are 3D animal models made of special plastic, simulating a thrilling hunt.
You can enjoy archery on the Rittner Sonnenplateau in Oberbozen on the Rainbow course and in Oberinn on the RiArco 3D course with 28 stations and 65 3D animals, which is currently the only course of its kind in South Tyrol. Archery experts will introduce you to the world of archery in courses, including bow and arrow hire.
Outdoor Kids Camp Merano 2000
The Outdoor Kinds Camp is located directly at the Merano 2000 mountain station. Once you arrive at the camp, you will quickly realize that this is not just a simple playground for children. Here the little ones can really let off steam on climbing walls, a zip line, trampolines and a slackline. Parents can enjoy a coffee in the Bistro Panorama while the children are at the children's playground in South Tyrol.
Birds of prey air show
The bird of prey flight show is also one of the most popular excursion destinations in South Tyrol. It is held at Tyrol Castle. Injured wild birds are also cared for and released into the wild at the care center for bird fauna. There is an educational trail where children and adults can learn everything they ever wanted to know about the feathered inhabitants. Owls and birds of prey will show you everything they can do during the flight demonstrations.
Watles adventure mountain
If you are looking for family hiking trails, then we can also recommend the Watles adventure mountain. Here you will also find a children's playground and a 3D archery course. The 2 m high waterfall will also amaze the little ones. Fun is guaranteed for parents and children on the Watles adventure mountain!
Children's world Olang
A huge play and adventure area awaits you at the edge of the forest in Olang. The children's playground in South Tyrol is also completely free of charge. From the very first sight, we guarantee that children's hearts will beat faster. There is a water world and lots of climbing equipment. The slide in the water world is one of the longest slides in South Tyrol.
The largest zipline in Europe
Did you know that San Vigilio is home to the largest zipline in Europe? Here you fly at a height of 100 m, 3 km over beautiful natural landscapes. A breathtaking view of the Dolomites awaits you! Children weighing 40 kg or more can experience this adventure on their own. Children weighing 35 kg or more can experience the zipline with a trainer.
